Social Media Action Center, in honor of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence

Law Students for Human rights is asking NYU students to participate in the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence in two easy ways at our Social Media Action Center on Thursday 11/29 from 10am to 2pm in Golding Lounge.

LSHR, as part of the campaign, seeks to raise awareness around gender-based violence, strengthen local work to stop violence against women, and establish international solidarity to end violence against women. We will have laptops available, and we ask people to come get FREE CANDY and post on Facebook and Twitter about the campaign.

We will also be asking folks to participate in the Security Project, which is documenting the ways people think of security in their daily lives. Come by our table, or contribute right now at . For more information about the Campaign:


JD/LLM Mid-Semester Mixer Nov. 13, West 3rd Commons 6pm

Join us for a mid-semester JD/LLM mixer designed to give students the opportunity to ask their upperclassmen peers about their past and future job and internship experiences.

PILC mentors are encouraged to take a break from their studies to meet with their mentees, and to provide encouragement and wisdom for the end of the semester and the beginning of the job search.

Free drinks will be provided. Co-sponsored by Law Students for Human Rights, International Law Society and PILC Mentors.
